WPC partition walls and canopy closures
WoodCore WPC partition boards are composed of bamboo wood and HDPE plastic. As they are a wood composite, the partition boards do not need to be painted or varnished. They are used for side or rear canopy barriers, as well as for barriers on terraces and other outdoor areas.
Choice of profile, layout (horizontal or vertical) and spacing between boards determine the degree of privacy and the passage of light. We offer several profiles and corresponding fixing systems. WoodCore WPC materials are subject to 15-year warranty.
Vertical or transverse positioning of WPC boards in partition walls
Some WoodCore WPC board profiles are suitable for transverse installation, others for upright installation in the construction of partition walls and canopy closures. The profiles differ in the method of fixing (visible or invisible screwing), the shape and the structural requirements.
Rehabilitation of an old partition wall
When renovating a partition wall or closing a carport, customers often already have the basic structure, for example the four load-bearing columns of the carport, with no intermediate beams. In such cases, the choice of plank layout (upright or transverse) depends on the spacing between the beams, the height of the wall and the material efficiency.
If the spans or the method of fixing do not correspond to the chosen profile, the structure must be supplemented with intermediate beams or additional substructure to ensure a stable design.
To prepare a quotation, we need: the distances between beams/posts (axial distances), the height and length of the wall, information on whether it is an upright or a transverse installation and the desired spacing between the boards.

The price of WPC fencing depends on the chosen profile, as the profiles differ in price. We do not publish prices because we advise customers on selecting the appropriate profile before purchase, especially when dealing with an existing structure that is not suitable for every profile. Without consultation, there is a risk of choosing the wrong profile or material that does not suit your situation. Yes, but only with the kubo profile with a 20x60 mm aluminum tube, where mounting is possible only at the top and bottom without intermediate supports – up to a height of 2.5 m. For all other profiles, intermediate supports are mandatory. If you want the cleanest possible execution without visible structural elements, the kubo with a 20x60 aluminum tube is the only suitable solution.
The WPC partition does not require painting or varnishing. If necessary, wash it with water or a high-pressure cleaner – only where rain doesn't do the job, especially in shady areas or protected parts where dust and green deposits accumulate over time.
With a horizontal partition, the boards are laid horizontally, and with a vertical one, they are laid vertically. The difference is not just aesthetic – each profile has its own construction requirements and not every profile is suitable for both installation methods.
If you have an existing construction, it will often be decisive in profile selection – sometimes adapting the existing construction for the desired profile is more expensive than choosing another profile that better suits the existing construction.
For a straight partition, the length, height, and desired spacing between boards are sufficient for our initial quote. For a transverse partition, we also need a floor plan with the spacing between posts, as the boards join lengthwise at the post, and this affects material consumption.
For horizontal installation, the maximum distance between posts is 133–145 cm, depending on the chosen profile. For vertical installation, the maximum distance is 200 cm.
Yes, hidden screwing is possible with the Romb and Kubo profiles, which have an aluminum tube inside, and with the full board 57/32, which is suitable for hidden screwing due to its thickness. For all other profiles, screwing through the board is mandatory, and the screws will be visible from the outside.
