WoodCore WPC patio planks - patio planks with 15 years warranty
WoodCore WPC decking boards
WoodCore WPC decking boards are made from a composite material - a mixture of wood particles, HDPE thermoplastic filler and additional additives. These WPC decking boards are more resistant to water, UV radiation and biological, chemical and mechanical environmental influences. Their great advantage over tropical wood is their long service life and minimal maintenance, which makes them the ideal solution for outdoor landscaping, balconies and gardens.
Easy installation of a WoodCore WPC wood composite terrace
The installation of WoodCore WPC decking boards is easy thanks to the spacers. For the installation of WoodCore WPC, common household tools are sufficient. With WoodCore WPC spacers, visible and protruding screws are a thing of the past and this is what makes a WPC terrace friendly to bare feet.
Warning: failure to follow the installation instructions may invalidate the warranty. Installation of WoodCore WPC is not suitable when the outside temperature is below +5 °C.
The height of the substructure and the WPC terrace boards is 5.5 cm, or 6.5 cm if the substructure is inverted.

Frequently Asked Questions
The price of a WPC terrace depends on the chosen shade, existing sub-surface, required construction, and the scope of installation – which varies based on the terrace's distance, complexity, and size. Instead of just the square meterage, please send the terrace dimensions so you can receive a realistic laying proposal and an accurate quote.
The 4m long board stretches 12 mm (approx. -30 degrees to +40 degrees).
Standard height is 5.5 or 6.5 cm - the board is 2.5 cm thick + 3×4 cm backing strip.
Minimum terrace height can be 4.5 cm - the board is 2.5 cm thick + 2 cm aluminium tube.
The most optimal substrate is a concrete slab with a drop. The substrate is stable and cleaning is easy.
If the battens are 33-35 cm apart (centre), warping of the boards cannot occur.
The boards must also be properly secured with spacers.
The boards can also be twisted if the terrace has unevenness and WPC underlay strips have been used. In case of unevenness, we recommend the use of aluminium underlay tubes.
Minimum 1 cm per metre.
A slope is necessary to allow water to drain along the boards.
If the substrate is flat, the drop should be made with a substructure.
If not enough drop is made, water can be expected to pool inside the boards over time, which in turn can cause the boards to crack. This is not covered by the guarantee.
Our laying proposal depends on several factors, the efficiency of the boards and also the drop, if there are any special features.
Most of the water runs off the boards. The underlay battens should be laid with a slight offset and can be supported with rubber strips to ensure water drainage.
If the boards are laid perpendicular to the drop, it is necessary to ensure that water does not collect in the board. We recommend cutting each board at a 5 degree angle so that water drains over the edge and does not flow into the board.
Each board must be drilled from the underside, about 5 cm from the edge, into each compartment (4,2 mm) to allow water entering the board to drain out.
The dirt that accumulates between the boards is best removed with a high-pressure cleaner and plenty of water. Direct the jet between the gaps and move towards the end of the terrace. The L-profile is a few millimetres shorter to allow the water and dirt to drain away.
WoodCore boards are not resistant to heavy loads, scratches and impacts, so areas where heavy loads may occur need to be reinforced. Narrow legs on patio chairs and tables are not recommended as they may damage the edges of the boards. Any pebble residues on the shoes may scratch the floor covering.
When moving furniture, use appropriate protective pads, and attach dedicated protective felt pads to the legs of chairs, tables, and other furniture to prevent permanent deformation and indentation of the floor surface. Remove all sharp objects that could mechanically damage the surface of the flooring.
Smooth sides of boards are more likely to have visible scratches than grooved sides.
