WoodCore WPC boards for partition walls are made from bamboo fibres and HDPE plastic. As this is a wood-plastic composite, boards for partition walls do not need to be painted or varnished. They are used for side or rear carport enclosures, as well as for partitions on terraces and other outdoor areas.

Vertical or horizontal installation of WPC boards in partition walls
Some WoodCore WPC board profiles are suitable for horizontal installation, while others are designed for vertical installation in partition walls and carport enclosures. The profiles differ in the fixing method, visible or hidden screw fixing, shape and structural requirements.
Renovating an existing partition wall
When renovating a partition wall or enclosing a carport, customers often already have the basic structure, for example four load-bearing carport posts without intermediate supports. In such cases, the choice of board installation, vertical or horizontal, depends on the span between the supports, the wall height and material optimisation.
If the spans or fixing method are not suitable for the selected profile, the structure must be upgraded with intermediate supports or an additional substructure to ensure a stable installation.
To prepare a quotation, we need the following information: distances between the supports or posts, measured centre to centre, the height and length of the wall, whether the boards will be installed vertically or horizontally, and the desired spacing between the boards.
Building a new partition wall
For a new WPC partition wall or or carport enclosure we recommend first choosing the profile Profile and installation direction, vertical or horizontal. Different profiles have different fixing requirements and support spans, so the substructure is then adapted to the selected solution.
This allows the structure to be planned for optimal material use, correct spans and properly positioned fixing points. The spacing between boards is also defined during planning,, as it affects the level of privacy and material consumption.

The price of a WPC partition wall depends on the selected profile, as the profiles differ in price. We do not publish prices because we advise customers before purchase on choosing the right profile, especially when there is an existing structure that may not be suitable for every profile. Without consultation, there is a risk of choosing the wrong profile or a material that does not suit your situation. Yes, but only with the KUBO profile with a 20 × 60 mm aluminium tube, where fixing is possible only at the top and bottom without intermediate supports, up to a height of 2.5 m. For all other profiles, intermediate supports are required. If you want the cleanest possible appearance without visible structural elements, KUBO with a 20 × 60 aluminium tube is the only suitable solution.
A WPC partition wall does not need painting or varnishing. If necessary, clean it with water or a pressure washer, especially in areas where rain does not rinse the surface, such as shaded locations or protected parts where dust and green deposits can build up over time.
With a horizontal partition wall, the boards are installed horizontally, while with a vertical partition wall, they are installed vertically. The difference is not only aesthetic, each profile has its own structural requirements and not every profile is suitable for both installation methods.
If you already have an existing structure, it will often determine the choice of profile. Sometimes adapting the existing structure to the desired profile is more expensive than choosing another profile that is better suited to the existing structure.
For a vertical partition wall, the length, height and desired spacing between the boards are sufficient for the first quotation. For a horizontal partition wall, we also need a floor plan with the distances between the posts, as the boards are joined lengthwise on the post, which affects material consumption.
For horizontal installation, the maximum spacing between posts is 133–145 cm, depending on the selected profile. For vertical installation, the maximum spacing is 200 cm.
Yes, hidden screw fixing is possible with the rhombus and KUBO profiles, which have an aluminium tube inside, and with the solid board 57/32, which is suitable for hidden fixing because of its thickness. With all other profiles, fixing through the board is required and the screws are visible from the outside.
