Partition wall with vertical WoodCore boards
For vertical partition walls, 5 different WoodCore board profiles are available:
- Solid board - 57/32
- Solid board - 100
– SOLID BOARD 128
– RHOMBUS board 67
- KUBO profile - 80/42
Below are four examples of partition walls with different board profiles. The image on the left shows a display example of a partition wall made from solid boards, 5.7 cm or 3.2 cm wide and 5.8 m long. Next to it is a partition wall with solid boards 10 cm wide and 5.8 m long. This is followed by a partition wall made from solid boards 12.8 cm wide and 2.2 m long. The image on the far right shows boards for a partition wall made from the RHOMBUS profile, 6.7 cm wide and 5.8 m long.
The maximum spacing between the horizontal tubes depends on the type of aluminium inside the profile. Installation is possible at a width of 80 mm or 42 mm. The board has concealed screw fixing.
The maximum spacing between the horizontal pipes shall be

The maximum spacing between the horizontal pipes shall be 110 cm. Angle brackets must be mounted on the horizontal tubes; the rhombus profile is fixed through the bracket. The fixing is hidden.
Board fixing characteristics:
The minimum distance of the screw from the cut edge is 3 cm. For a structure mounted onto a slab or plate (balcony, courtyard fence), the maximum distance of the screw from the cut edge is 15 cm. For a structure mounted sideways onto a slab or plate (balcony), the maximum distance of the screw from the cut edge is 10 cm.
Partition wall installation - SOLID BOARD 57/32 profile
The 57/32 profile can be installed at a width of 5.7 cm or 3.2 cm, with the screw length approximately 2/3 of the profile depth. The standard profile length is 5.8 m, but it can be cut to any required length. It is fixed with stainless-steel knipping screws through the tube from the rear side, so the screws are not visible. A special feature of this profile is that a hole smaller than the screw is drilled into the composite material, while a larger hole is drilled into the structure to allow material expansion. The maximum post spacing for vertical board installation is 150 cm, regardless of the partition wall height. The maximum permitted distance between supports is 100 cm.
Partition wall installation - SOLID BOARD 100 and SOLID BOARD 128 profile
WoodCore WPC board for partition walls – the solid board 100 profile is 5.8 m long, while the solid board 128 profile is 2.2 m long. Both profiles can be cut to any required length. The board can also be rounded or shaped into any desired form, as it is processed like wood. The recommended spacing between boards is from 0.5 cm to 3 cm. Board overlapping is also possible, with installation from both sides. The maximum post spacing for vertical board installation is 180 cm for partition walls up to 150 cm high. For higher partition walls, the maximum post spacing is 150 cm. When preparing the structure, follow professional guidelines for structural load-bearing capacity.
The screws are visible from the front side – fixing from the front side is mandatory. Where the board is screwed into a metal tube, a hole larger than the screw must be pre-drilled to allow for material expansion due to temperature changes. The choice of screw depends on the type of structure.
A hole 1 mm larger than the screw must be drilled in the WoodCore board.
Partition wall installation - RHOMBUS BOARD profile
The RHOMBUS profile is 6.7 cm wide and 5.8 m long and can be cut to any required length. It is fixed with stainless-steel screws through the post into the aluminium tube in the centre of the rhombus profile, from the rear side. The screw is not visible from the front. The maximum distance between posts is 150 cm, while the maximum distance between vertical supports is 100 cm. This is possible only when an angle bracket or flat aluminium profile is installed on each support. The hole in the composite material must always be larger than the screw due to material expansion.
Example: for a 3.9 mm self-drilling screw, first drill a 3.2 mm hole through the rhombus profile and aluminium, then enlarge the hole in the rhombus profile to 4.2–4.5 mm.
The boards are not solid and have openings. We recommend finishing the profile or preparing the structure in such a way that the openings are covered. This minimises the possibility of water entering the profile or reaching the aluminium tube in the centre of the profile.
End caps are available, but they are more expensive and we cannot guarantee that water will not enter the profile despite using them.
WARNING: installation of rhombus boards without the aluminium tube in the middle of the profile is NOT possible. The rhombus profile can only be purchased together with the alu tube, which is already included in the board price.
Partition wall installation - KUBO profile
The Kubo partition wall system is installed vertically onto a previously prepared structure. The 80 × 42 × 5000/5800 mm profile features an inserted aluminum tube and is secured from the back depending on the chosen layout. Installation is possible with a visible width of 4.2 cm or 8 cm.
Depending on the installation method and location, a mill-finish or anodized aluminum tube is inserted into the Kubo profile. When installed outdoors, the top cap alone does not provide sufficient protection against moisture ingress into the interior of the profile, so an anodized aluminum tube must be used.
In the case of a partition wall, the structure can be anchored only at the top and bottom, without a middle horizontal connection, but only with the correct selection of the reinforcing aluminum tube within the Kubo profile. Up to a span of 120 cm, the Kubo profile can be installed without an additional reinforcing tube. For spans over 120 cm and up to 260 cm, a 20 × 60 × 2 mm aluminum tube is inserted into the Kubo profile. For spans over 260 cm, a stronger aluminum or stainless steel tube may be used, appropriately selected according to the span and the design of the structure.
Cubo slats are attached from the back to a prepared structure made of horizontally positioned, powder-coated aluminum tubes or angles. When the cubo slats are installed at an angle, solid profiles or angles are additionally mounted onto the horizontal aluminum tube, onto which the tubes with the cubo slat are then installed and fixed.
The spacing between individual Kubo slats is arbitrary and is determined according to the desired appearance of the partition wall. When planning, it is necessary to take into account the height or span of the Kubo profiles and select the appropriate internal aluminum/stainless steel reinforcement based on the span.

Storage
Before installation, WoodCore WPC boards must be stored in a dry and well-ventilated place. The storage base should be flat and clean. The boards must be fully supported along their length and width. In case of improper storage, complaints cannot be accepted.
